Track inventory
What you have, where it is, how fast it sells and when to reorder. Staff log deliveries and sales in a sentence, and costs stay visible only to the owner.
An example
@ADoor Received 200 of the 330 ml bottles and 50 lids. Sold 36 bottles today at the market.
ADoor Added 3 entries to Stock movements and updated Stock
What you can ask later
- “What’s below its reorder point?”
- “How many bottles did we sell per week in September?”
- “What hasn’t moved in three months?”
- “What’s our stock worth at cost?”
- “Chart stock on hand for bottles over the last 90 days.”
Who can see what
- Shop staff add stock movements and read stock levels, without seeing costs.
- The owner reads everything, including costs and margins.
- Your accountant gets read access at year end, removed when they’re done.
- A script on your shop system adds sales through the HTTP API.
How it compares with an inventory app or Shopify
Inventory systems like Cin7, or the stock features in Shopify, are better at syncing with your shop, barcode scanning, purchase orders and multi-warehouse rules.
ADoor fits a business whose stock lives in several places, or that sells through channels nothing syncs with. Log movements in a sentence, ask in plain words, and query it with SQL for anything else.
How to start
- Sign in to ADoor, then add it to an assistant like ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Cursor through MCP.
- Tell it: “Set up inventory: Items (name, SKU, cost, reorder at), Stock (item, location, on hand) and Stock movements (item, change, reason, date).”
- Give shop staff add access to Stock movements, without the cost field.
Questions people ask
Can it sync with my shop?
ADoor has no sync connectors. A small script can post sales to the HTTP API.
Can staff see costs?
Only if you give them access to that field.
Do I have to pay?
Not on the free plan, which holds 3 tables and 100 rows. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, with 1 GB of storage and no per-GB charges.
Which assistants work with ADoor?
ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor connect through MCP. You sign in once per assistant, approve it, and choose what it can reach.
