Collect standup notes from assistants
Each person’s assistant writes their standup from the work they did: yesterday, today and what’s in the way. A summary agent reads them all and writes the digest.
An example
@ADoor Write my standup from what I did in Cursor today and my work log.
ADoor Added 1 entry to Standups
What you can ask later
- “Summarize today’s standups in five lines.”
- “Who has been blocked for more than two days?”
- “What did Kim say she’d do yesterday, and did she?”
- “Which blockers mention other teams?”
Who can see what
- Each person writes and edits their own standup (one grant per person), through their own assistant.
- The team reads everyone’s.
- A summary agent reads all standups and writes the daily digest, without editing anyone’s entry.
How it compares with Geekbot or a standup meeting
Geekbot is built for asking everyone in Slack at a set time and posting the answers in a channel.
Use ADoor when the assistant can write the standup from the work itself and you want the notes searchable. Each person owns their entry, and the summary agent can read but not rewrite.
How to start
- Connect ADoor to your assistant. ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor all connect through MCP.
- Tell it: “Set up standups: Standups (date, who, yesterday, today, blocked).”
- Give the summary agent read access to Standups and nothing to edit.
Questions people ask
Can the assistant write my standup?
Yes. It can draft from your work log and what you did, and you approve it.
Can I see past standups?
Yes. They stay, searchable by person and date.
How much does ADoor cost?
The free plan holds 3 tables and 100 rows, enough to start a list like this. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, with 1 GB of storage and no per-GB charges.
Can I take access back?
Yes, at any time. It applies from their next request, and their earlier entries stay with their name on them.
