Keep notes on the people you know

The things people tell you: a new job, a kid’s birthday, a race they’re training for. Tell your assistant after you meet someone, and ask before you see them again.

An example

@ADoor Coffee with Priya. She started at Spotify in September, her son Arjun turns 6 in November, and she's training for a half marathon.

What you can ask later

  • “I’m meeting Priya tomorrow, remind me what’s new with her.”
  • “Who haven’t I talked to in six months?”
  • “Who do I know who works in design?”
  • “Whose kids have birthdays this month?”

Who can see what

  • Only you. These are your own notes, and only the assistants you connect can read them.
  • Your partner can share the Friends list and add notes from their own assistant, while your work contacts stay separate.
  • An assistant you connect only for work can be kept out of the Friends list entirely.

How it compares with Clay, Dex or your phone’s contacts

Clay and Dex pull in contacts from email, calendar and LinkedIn automatically, with reminders to stay in touch.

ADoor is for the human details nobody types into a contacts app. You decide what goes in, and it stays private to you.

How to start

  1. Sign in to ADoor and connect an assistant like ChatGPT. Claude, Grok and Cursor connect the same way, through MCP.
  2. Tell it: “Keep notes on people for me: a People list (name, how we know each other, family, latest news, last spoke) and a Conversations log.”
  3. After coffee or a call, tell your assistant one or two things worth remembering.

Questions people ask

Is it creepy to keep notes on friends?

People have always kept notes like these in address books. It’s private to you, and it helps you remember what matters to them.

Can I use it for work contacts too?

Yes. Keep them in a separate space so you can give assistants different access.

What does it cost?

Nothing on the free plan, which holds 3 tables and 100 rows. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, with 1 GB of storage and no per-GB charges.

What happens if I remove someone’s access?

Their next request is refused. What they already saved stays, and the history shows who made each change.
