Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-10-22. It replaces the terms dated 2026-10-20.

These terms are an agreement between you and Halmos Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company," "us," "our," or "we"). By using ADoor, a data account from Halmos Labs, you agree to them, on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent. You confirm that you have authority to do that.

You must be at least 16 years old.

The website at adoor.halmoslabs.com and the service at app.adoor.halmoslabs.com are the "Service." The privacy policy and the data processing addendum are part of these terms. If the privacy policy and these terms disagree about personal information, the privacy policy controls. If the data processing addendum and these terms disagree about processing of customer content, the addendum controls.

The service

ADoor is one PostgreSQL database. Your team, ChatGPT, Claude, other agents and your own apps read and write the same rows, inside the grant you set. The website, the API, the command line and assistants go through the same checks.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to give a current name and email and to keep them current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in under your control. Tell us at support@halmoslabs.com if you believe the account was used without your permission.

You can start account deletion from the product, as the privacy policy describes. We may suspend or close an account as described under Suspension.

Access

A grant can name a space, a table, the fields in it, and which rows. Owner, editor and viewer are presets. An agent cannot do more than the person who connected it. Revoke a grant, and the rows it wrote stay.

Your data

You decide what to put in the database, and which people, agents and apps may use it. The privacy policy describes what ADoor stores, who processes it, how long it is kept, and how to ask for deletion. Customer content that includes personal data is also covered by the data processing addendum.

You keep your rights in the content you store. You give us the rights we need to host, back up, display, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service and to follow these terms. We do not use your data to train models.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own work, including work with your team and with apps you build, inside the grant and the plan.

Do not break the law, infringe other people's rights, disrupt the service, or access data you are not allowed to use. Do not probe, scan, or overload the Service, bypass a grant, or resell access to the Service as a competing hosted database. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

The Service, and the software and text we provide with it, belong to Halmos Labs, Inc. or its suppliers. These terms do not transfer that ownership. They do not grant a license to our trademarks.

If you send us a suggestion about the Service, you agree we may use it without restriction and without payment. Do not send a suggestion you consider confidential.

Billing

Stripe holds invoices, the payment method, the billing name, the billing email and the address. ADoor keeps the Stripe customer id, the subscription id, the subscription item id, the plan, the storage ceiling, the measured usage, and the status it needs to apply that plan.

The Free plan includes 3 tables, 100 rows and a few MB of storage in each workspace. Pro is billed monthly per workspace through Stripe, at the price on the pricing page. It includes 1 GB of storage. There are no metered charges. When a workspace reaches its plan limit, writes that add data stop until data is removed or the plan changes.

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe at the price shown on the pricing page or at checkout, and renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Plan limits are described in the docs.

Privacy and cookies

Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy. It describes what we collect, how we use it, and when we share it.

We use only sign-in cookies, as the privacy policy describes. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or pixels. There is no separate cookie notice.

Third-party services and other users

The Service connects to WorkOS for sign-in, to Stripe for payment, and to the assistants and apps you choose. We do not control ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Cursor, or any other assistant. What you tell those services outside ADoor is governed by their terms. Your interactions with other people in a workspace are between you and them. We are not responsible for content you or they store, or for an assistant's use of a grant you approved.

Disclaimers

These terms state no uptime commitment. Retained history is not a backup. ADoor is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful code.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halmos Labs, Inc. and its suppliers will not be liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from these terms or the Service. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the last 12 months. These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Halmos Labs, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents against claims and reasonable costs arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of the law. We may take over the defense of a claim, and you will not settle a claim that imposes an obligation on us without our prior written consent. We will try to tell you promptly when we learn of a claim.

Suspension

These terms stay in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. We may also suspend or end access if the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should survive, including your data license to us for copies we are allowed to retain, acceptable use, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law, survive.

State notices

If you are a California resident, you may report complaints to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, at 1625 N. California privacy rights are described in the privacy policy.

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Details are in the privacy policy.

If you are a Nevada resident, you may email support@halmoslabs.com to direct us not to sell covered information. We do not sell personal information.

Changes and governing law

We give 30 days' notice of material changes. These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are heard in the courts of San Francisco County, California.

The template these terms are adapted from offered two arbitration clauses, including a class-action waiver. Neither is part of these terms. The courts named above are the forum.

You agree not to export or re-export technical data from the Service in violation of U.S. export control law. You consent to electronic notices, by email to the address on the account or by a notice on the Service. Those notices satisfy any legal requirement that a notice be in writing.

If you have trouble using the website, email support@halmoslabs.com.

These terms, the privacy policy, and the data processing addendum are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is held invalid, it is modified to the minimum extent required and the rest stays in effect. You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them. "Including" means "including without limitation."
