Plans
ADoor has two plans: Free and Pro. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, in USD before tax. There are no per-GB charges. Invitation sending is not a plan cap.
Reading this page does not require an ADoor account, and it does not open an upgrade.
Free
Caps are on at app.adoor.halmoslabs.com. Prices and limits are also on the pricing page.
A free workspace then allows:
- 100 rows in total, across every table
- 1 space (the space named General)
- 3 tables
- 5 MB of storage, with no grace above that byte ceiling
- a free account may own 2 workspaces, including the personal workspace
Pro
A Pro workspace includes 1 GB of storage and has no row, space, or table cap unless the operator sets one. At 1 GB, a write that would grow the workspace is refused with PRO_LIMIT_REACHED. Reads, export, and deletes keep working. The Billing page warns at about 80% of the cap.
describe_store, usage, and billing report planLimits as current and max for rows, spaces, and tables. A null max means that count is not capped. The billing page lists those three counts when a max is set.
When a write does not fit
The API, the CLI, MCP, SQL, schema changes, file import, undo that restores a row, and a new space or table all use the same error:
{
"error": {
"code": "PLAN_LIMIT_EXCEEDED",
"message": "This workspace is at the plan limit of 100 rows. Delete rows, or open Billing (/#/billing) to upgrade.",
"details": { "limit": "rows", "max": 100 }
}
}
limit is rows, spaces, tables, or owned_workspaces. The message names the plan limit and the next step: delete rows, delete a table, or use a workspace you already have. A space limit names the user spaces that count, says system spaces are not counted, and says to archive a space or upgrade through the billing tool. An owner, or a caller with inspect_access or manage_billing, also receives current and, for a space limit, spaces. Other callers do not receive the space names. Existing rows are not deleted. A full-access connection whose first run would create a project space, while the workspace is already at its space limit, receives the existing default space instead. That space starts named General. Pro, with no space cap, still creates the project space.
Upgrade
An owner opens Billing in the app and subscribes to Pro through Stripe Checkout. The page shows the price Stripe reports, “Pro · $10.00 per month”, and never invents an amount. Renewals, cancellations, and payment events are applied to the workspace. “Manage billing in Stripe” opens the Stripe billing portal for a workspace that already has a Stripe customer or subscription.
Workspaces that already exist keep their current data when caps are turned on. A workspace already over a cap keeps those rows and cannot grow past that higher count until it deletes enough to fit.
