Keep a car maintenance log
Every oil change, tire swap and inspection, with the mileage and what it cost. Tell your assistant after each garage visit, and the car’s history is ready when you need it, or when you sell.
An example
@ADoor Changed to winter tires today at 84,200 km, cost 80. The garage said the front brake pads have about 5,000 km left.

What you can ask later
- “When is the next service due?”
- “What has the car cost this year, fuel included?”
- “When should I book new brake pads, going by the garage’s note?”
- “What’s my average fuel use since the summer?”
- “Chart my fuel cost per month this year.”
Who can see what
- You keep the log, and the assistants you connect can read and add to it.
- Everyone who drives the car can log fuel and mileage from their own assistant.
- A buyer, when you sell, can get read access to the service history without costs.
How it compares with a car app or the service booklet
Drivvo and Fuelly do fuel stats and mileage-based reminders well, and some connected cars report mileage themselves.
ADoor keeps what those apps skip, such as what the mechanic said and which garage did the work, in your own words. Before you book a service, ask what was done last time. When you sell, give the buyer read access to the service entries.
How to start
- Connect ADoor to your assistant. ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor all connect through MCP.
- Tell it: “Keep a log for my car: date, mileage, work done or fuel, cost, garage and notes.”
- After each garage visit or fill-up, tell your assistant the mileage and what was done.
