Track fundraising

Every investor, who introduced you, where each conversation stands and what’s committed. After each meeting, tell your assistant what happened and what you promised to send.

An example

@ADoor Second meeting with Anna at Northzone went well, she wants to see the cohort data. Intro came from Erik. Follow up Thursday.

What you can ask later

  • “Who owes us a reply, and who do we owe a follow-up?”
  • “How much is committed so far?”
  • “Which intros came from Erik?”
  • “What did each investor push back on?”
  • “Chart investors by stage, and committed amount over time.”

Who can see what

  • Founders edit everything.
  • An advisor reads the pipeline and adds intros, without seeing amounts.
  • A board member gets read access to the summary fields during the raise.

How it compares with a spreadsheet or fundraising software

Affinity and other investor CRMs score relationships from email and calendar data, and they’re built for VC firms.

Founders who want the raise tracked without extra work can keep it in ADoor: update after each call in a sentence, ask what’s next, and share exactly the fields advisors need.

How to start

  1. Open an assistant like ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Cursor and connect ADoor through MCP.
  2. Tell it: “Set up a fundraising pipeline: Investors (firm, partner, intro by, stage, amount, next step) and Meetings.”
  3. Invite your co-founder, and give advisors access without the amount field.

Questions people ask

Can I share it with my co-founder only?

Yes. Access is per person, down to single fields.

Can it hold the data room?

ADoor doesn’t store files. Keep links to the documents.

Do I have to pay?

Not on the free plan, which holds 3 tables and 100 rows. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, with 1 GB of storage and no per-GB charges.

Can I take access back?

Yes, at any time. It applies from their next request, and their earlier entries stay with their name on them.
