Keep a daily journal
A few lines a day, with a mood and energy score. Over months, ADoor, your data account, turns that into something you can ask about: what good weeks had in common, or what you wrote this day last year.
An example
@ADoor Good day. Finished the presentation, lunch with Sam, felt tired by 4. Mood 7, energy 5.

What you can ask later
- “What were my best weeks this year, and what was going on?”
- “Is my mood lower on days I sleep under seven hours?”
- “When did I last see Sam?”
- “What did I write on this day last year?”
- “Chart my mood and energy for the last two months.”
Who can see what
- Only you. A journal stays in your own space, and only the assistants you connect can read it.
- One assistant can read it and another can’t. Connect Claude to your journal and keep the ChatGPT you use for work out of it.
How it compares with Day One or a notebook
Day One is better for a long-form journal with photos, locations, templates and end-to-end encryption. A paper notebook is better if you never want it on a screen.
ADoor fits a short daily log you want to ask questions of. Mood and energy are numbers, so your assistant can compare them with your sleep or workouts and look back for you.
How to start
- Sign in to ADoor, then add it to an assistant like ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Cursor through MCP.
- Tell it: “Keep a journal for me: date, mood out of 10, energy out of 10, and the entry.”
- Write two or three lines each evening, with a mood and energy score.
