Share a weekly meal plan
What’s for dinner each night, who’s cooking, and what needs buying. Ask for a week built from your favorite recipes, and what to buy goes straight onto your shopping list.
An example
@ADoor Plan dinners Monday to Thursday from our 5-star recipes, nothing with fish since Leo's away. I cook Monday and Wednesday.

What you can ask later
- “What’s for dinner tonight, and who’s cooking?”
- “Swap Tuesday and Thursday.”
- “What haven’t we had in a month?”
- “Add what we need for this week to the shopping list.”
Who can see what
- Everyone who cooks edits the plan from their own assistant.
- Kids can read the plan and vote on a dish, but not change it.
- A sitter can read tonight’s dinner and the notes for the evening.
How it compares with Mealime or a fridge whiteboard
Mealime and Plan to Eat come with ready-made plans, recipe importers and nutrition info, which ADoor doesn’t have.
Choose ADoor when the plan comes from your own recipes and is shared with whoever cooks. It connects to your shopping list, and anyone can change it from the chat they already use.
How to start
- Connect ADoor to your assistant. ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor all connect through MCP.
- Tell it: “Make a weekly meal plan for our household: day, dinner, cook and time, linked to our recipes and shopping list.”
- Invite whoever cooks, and give the kids read access.
Questions people ask
Does it work with my recipe list?
Yes. See Start a recipe collection.
Can it plan around what people don't eat?
Yes. Keep a list of what each person doesn't eat, and your assistant checks the plan against it.
Is ADoor free?
Yes. The free plan holds 3 tables and 100 rows. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, with 1 GB of storage and no per-GB charges.
Can I take access back?
Yes, at any time. It applies from their next request, and their earlier entries stay with their name on them.
