ADoor vs Fibery

Fibery is a work platform you shape around your processes, with databases, docs and whiteboards. ADoor, your data account, keeps the records a team or a person works from, where every person, app and assistant like ChatGPT has its own access.

Where ADoor stands out

Assistants that stay in their lane

Fibery's MCP server can query databases, create and delete entities and even change the workspace schema. In ADoor, changing a list's fields is a separate permission, and each assistant gets only what you grant, capped at the person who connected it.

Approvals

When an agent in ADoor needs more, it asks and you approve or deny. A new device signs in only after you approve it.

CI without stored secrets

A GitHub Actions job signs in to ADoor with short-lived access, 15 minutes by default.

ADoor

ADoor is your data account. You keep lists and tables in a workspace you own, personal or team: a reading list, an incident log, a list of customers. Describe what you want to keep track of and it's set up for you, with real Postgres underneath. Every person, app, assistant, device and job gets its own access.

Assistants
ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor connect through MCP with a sign-in.
Apps and scripts
An HTTP API with keys, running the same actions assistants use
Access
Per space, list or field, or just the entries where a field equals a value you choose. Reading, adding, editing and deleting entries, and changing a list's fields, are separate permissions. An assistant never gets more than the person who connected it.
Approvals
Agents ask for more access and you approve or deny. A new device signs in only after you approve it and choose its access.
CI jobs
GitHub Actions signs in with short-lived access, 15 minutes by default and up to 30 days, with no stored secret.
Revoking
Takes effect on the next request. What was already saved stays.

Plans
Free for 3 tables and 100 rows. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, with 1 GB of storage.

Which one should you use?

Use Fibery when

you want one tool for product work, with relations, docs and whiteboards around the data.

  • Docs and whiteboards. Fibery combines them with databases. ADoor keeps records only.
  • Free observers. Observers and guests don't need paid seats.
  • Schema from an assistant. Its MCP can add fields, views and workflow states.

Use ADoor when

you want assistants to work with your records but not reshape them, and each to see only its part.

Technical

  • An analytics job writes daily usage per customer to an add-only list, and product queries it in SQL.
  • An agent that tags feedback can add entries and edit the Tags field, but can't change any list's fields.

Personal

  • College applications for your daughter: schools, deadlines, essays and fees. She edits status, you edit fees.
  • Birthdays and gift ideas for the family, private to you. You ask ChatGPT a week before each one.

Team

  • Product, design and support share a Roadmap list where support adds requests and product edits priorities.
  • A history of changes shows who changed each priority and what it was before.

Business

  • A partner company sees only the shared features in your Roadmap list, without internal notes.
  • A design agency adds work to one list, and you revoke it when the project ends.
