# Start a training log

Every set, run and session, logged by telling your assistant what you did. Later, ask for your best squat this year or a chart of your bench press since spring.

## An example

**You:** Gym today: squats 3x5 at 100 kg, bench 3x8 at 70, then 20 minutes on the bike.

**ADoor:** Added 3 entries to Workouts

**Workouts**

| Date | Exercise | Sets x reps | Weight / time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Oct 20 | Squat | 3x5 | 100 kg |
| Oct 20 | Bench press | 3x8 | 70 kg |
| Oct 20 | Bike | – | 20 min |

## What you can ask later

- “What’s my best squat in the last three months?”
- “How many times did I train each week in September?”
- “When did I last do legs?”
- “What should I add to the bar on bench next session, going by the last four?”
- “Chart my squat weight over the last six months.”

## Who can see what

- **Only you** by default.
- **A coach** gets read access to Workouts, and can add a Plan entry for next week, without seeing your other lists.
- **A training partner** can log shared sessions from their own assistant into a list you both use.

## How it compares with Strong, Hevy or a spreadsheet

In the gym itself, Strong and Hevy are hard to beat: rest timers, plate math, exercise libraries with animations and syncing with your watch.

ADoor suits people who want to log in one sentence and ask real questions afterwards. Mix lifting, running and climbing in one place with fields you pick, and ask your assistant for any view of it. Unlike a spreadsheet, it fills itself in from what you say.

## How to start

1. Open an assistant like ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Cursor and connect ADoor through MCP.
2. Tell it: “Keep a workout log for me: date, exercise, sets, reps, weight or time, and a notes field.”
3. After each session, tell your assistant what you did, in whatever words you use at the gym.

## Questions people ask

### Can it read my watch data?

ADoor has no sync connectors. You can export from your watch app as CSV and have your assistant import it.

### Can my coach write a plan?

Yes. Give your coach add access to a Plan list and read access to Workouts.

### What does ADoor cost?

It’s free for up to 3 tables and 100 rows. Pro is $10 a month per workspace, with 1 GB of storage and no per-GB charges.

### Which assistants can I use?

Any of ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Cursor, connected through MCP. Each one asks for your approval, and you decide which lists it can use.
