# Keep a daily work log

A few lines from each person and each agent about what they did today. Anyone can catch up on the week, or ask what the agents did overnight.

## What you can ask later

- “What did the team get done this week?”
- “What’s blocking people right now?”
- “What did the agents do overnight?”
- “When did we last touch the billing page?”

## Who can see what

- **Everyone on the team** adds entries and reads everyone’s.
- **Agents** add entries with add-only access, and can’t edit or delete any.
- **A manager** reads the log for the weekly update, and edits nothing.

## How it compares with Slack updates or a shared doc

Slack is better for conversation and quick reactions. A shared doc is better for a long narrative.

## How to start

1. Sign in to ADoor and connect an assistant like ChatGPT. Claude, Grok and Cursor connect the same way, through MCP.
2. Tell it: “Set up a work log: Work log (date, who, did, next, blocked).”
3. Give each agent add-only access, so it can add entries but can’t edit or delete any.
